Bealby Point Stay – House Rules & Guest Information

Before we provide your personalized door code, you will be asked to confirm your agreement and include:

• Names and ages of all guests staying on the property

• Best contact number to reach you during your stay

General House Guidelines

• Please treat the property with the same care you would your own home.

• Guests are responsible for damages or missing items beyond normal wear and tear. Replacement or repair costs may apply.

• Please report any pre-existing issues upon arrival.

• Notify us immediately if anything requires attention during your stay so we can address it promptly.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m. Please be respectful of neighbors and other guests, especially outdoors.

No Parties or Disruptive Gatherings

• No loud parties or disruptive behavior permitted.

• If a disturbance occurs, guests will receive one warning. A second complaint may result in termination of the stay without refund.

• Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted.

Guest Visitors

• We’re happy for you to have friends visit during your stay. To help preserve the peaceful atmosphere and avoid overcrowding, visitor numbers are limited to a maximum of 4 guests per day.

• Visiting hours are 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

• Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight unless approved and registered in advance.

• Beach toys and water equipment are reserved for registered guests only.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in: Self-check-in anytime after 3:00 p.m.

Door Code: Personalized codes are sent once guest confirmation has been received.

Check-out: 10:00 a.m. sharp

Late checkout fee: $50 per half hour, as delays impact cleaning schedules.

Hot Tub Rules

(Kootenay and Eagle View Suites only)

• Temperature range: 95–104°F

• No children under 10 years old permitted in the hot tub

• No food, alcohol, sand, lotions, or pets in the hot tub

• Please shower before use. At minimum, if coming from the lake, use the wash bucket to remove sand from your feet

• Inspect the water before entering. If water appears cloudy, gritty, unusually hot, or has an unusual odor, do not use and contact us immediately

• Do not remove or tamper with filters, jets, covers, or chemical dispensers

• Floating chemical dispenser must remain in the tub

• Do not remove the filter cover on the Kootenay hot tub as it is pressurized and may cause injury or damage

• Please turn off lights/jets and close the cover after use

Towels, Laundry & Household Items

• Grey or white towels: indoor use only

• Colored towels: beach and hot tub use

• Scruffy towels: pets, spills, and cleaning only

• Extra blankets used during your stay may be left out for laundering

Smoking Policy

• Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited indoors

• Smoking outdoors is permitted only at least 20 feet from doors, windows, and beach areas occupied by people or children

• Evidence of indoor smoking will result in a $500 cleaning fee

Pet Policy

• Maximum of 2 small or medium dogs permitted

• Fee: $100 per dog per stay

• Unregistered dogs: $200 per dog

• Pets must be house-trained, non-disruptive, non-aggressive, and safe around children

• No pets on furniture or in hot tubs

• Pets must remain leashed outdoors

• Dogs returning from the lake should be dried before entering the home

• Pets may not be left unattended unless crate-trained and quiet

• Owners are responsible for cleaning up and disposing of pet waste properly

• Guests are responsible for any flea treatment or remediation required after their stay

Private Beach & Water Equipment

• No lifeguard on duty — use at your own risk

• Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times

• Water equipment and beach toys are for registered guests only

• Life jackets are required; please bring your own

• Return equipment to original locations after use; please do not drag equipment

Replacement charges for damaged equipment due to misuse:

• Paddleboard — $400

• Kayak — $500

• Canoe — $850

• Pedal Boat — $800

• Paddles — $40 each

Beach Fire Pit

Before using the fire pit, please check with us to ensure it has not been reserved by another guest and that there is no active fire ban in effect.

• The fire pit must remain in the sand area on the beach only

• Keep a bucket of water nearby at all times

• Never leave a fire unattended

• Children must be supervised at all times

• Keep chairs and personal belongings away from sparks

• Fully extinguish the fire before retiring for the evening

• Once the fire pit has cooled completely, please replace the cover the following morning

• Quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m.

• Guests are welcome to use an armful or two of provided firewood

• Please clean any sticky food residue from chairs and surrounding areas after use

• Return chairs to a neat arrangement when finished

• Use of the fire pit is at your own risk and guests assume responsibility for safe use

Septic System Guidelines

Please help protect our septic system:

• Toilet paper only in toilets

• Do not flush wipes, feminine hygiene products, oils, grease, or food waste

• Dispose of cooking grease in the glass jars provided under the kitchen sink

• Please conserve water where possible, especially during summer months

• Even products labeled “septic safe” should not be flushed

Well Water Notice

• Our water is supplied by a well and may occasionally have an iron taste or slight yellow coloration, particularly after rainfall

• We use and drink this water ourselves and provide Brita filters for guest use

• Guests are welcome to bring bottled water if preferred

• We have installed iron filters which have significantly improved water quality, however occasional variation may still occur

• We are not responsible for clothing discoloration from laundry during periods of elevated iron content

Bear & Wildlife Safety

• Never leave food or garbage outdoors

• Please use the bear-proof bins located at the top of the driveway and ensure the lid clicks securely

• Garbage should be securely sealed before disposal

• Rinse recyclable containers to avoid attracting wildlife

• Please notify us of concerning wildlife activity near the property

Firearms Policy

• No unsecured firearms are permitted anywhere on the property

• Firearms must remain safely stored at all times
